West Essex Amateur Radio Club (WEARC)

WEARC was founded in 1994 as a forum where Amateurs interested in HF could meet and discuss topics pertaining to operation.  The club has evolved over the years into an active group supporting all facets of ham radio, including phone, CW, Digital Modes featuring PSK31, FSTV, and SCTV, just to name a few.  The club supports building sessions where antennas are built, and VE Sessions. The club also sponsors an on-air open net held every Thursday evening at 8 PM, the STS Net, 440.100 MHz (445.100 input, tone is 141.3 Hz). The net is open all licensed hams. Please feel free to join us.

WEARC is based in Essex Fells 07021.  Membership is open to all.  Ham radio operators and radio enthusiasts from neighboring towns in Essex County including Caldwell, West Caldwell, North Caldwell, 07006, Roseland 07068, Fairfield 07004, Livingston 07039, Verona 07044, Cedar Grove 07009, and West Orange 07052, Montclair 07042, 07043, Nutley 07110, Glen Ridge 07028, Bloomfield 07003, Belleville 07109, Orange 07050, 07051, East Orange 07017, 07018, 07019, Millburn 07041, Maplewood 07040, South Orange 07079, Irvington 07111; Morris County including Pine Brook 07058, Montville 07045, Parsippany 07054, East Hanover 07936, Lincoln Park 07035, Pequannock 07440, Boonton 07005, and Mountain Lakes 07046, Florham Park 07932, Madison 07940, Chatham 07928, Whippany 07981, 07999, Denville 07834, Rockaway 07866, Morris Plains 07950, Morristown 07960, 07961, 07962, 07962; Passaic County including Wayne 07470, 07474, Little Falls 07424, and Totowa 07502, 07511, 07512, all come together to share ideas and enjoy the hobby.  The club is one of the premier ham radio clubs in northern New Jersey. 

Meeting are held at the Essex Fells Service Building, 307 Runnymede Road, Second Floor, Essex Fells, NJ 07021.
