 QSL of the Month

The cards featured here may not be the most current contacts club members have made using our W2EF call, but they are the most interesting.  We also will post cards from members they would like to share.  The motif of this card may not be ham radio, but it is nonetheless interesting, especially if you appreciate old steam locomotives. As KX8C indicates from the back caption, this is a rendering of the NYC Hudson 20th Century Limited as painted by his Father.  Below is a pic of the locomotive from days gone by.

The caption text reads as follows:  "Art Train from Cleveland" Acrylic 18x24.  This painting by my father depicts a New York Central 4-6-4 Hudson, with Cleveland's Terminal Tower in the background.  It was inspired by the NYC "20th Century Limited" rumbling past my father's boyhood bedroom window.
